Stade Rennais Newbie

I'm moving to France for work for at least 6 months next week and Stade Rennais will be my local team. Don't really know anything about Stade Rennais yet but hopefully I'll get down to a few games and learn about the club. I'm a Norwich fan so we share Alex Tettey. What are the basics about following Stade Rennais and French football?

First, welcome in Rennes! I hope you'll like our city and our region.

He created it only a few weeks ago and I think it's a really great way to start with our club in English. There's a history section where you'll learn everything you need.
You can also check the english version of this website, most of the articles are translated.

In a nutshell, the basics about Stade Rennais are that they always manage to somehow disappoint us, even when we don't expect anything. But however we're still backing them every season!

I knew Nantes were the Canaries but didn't realise they were rivals! Thought the main rivals would be Guingamp or Lorient or a team like that, these are the things I need to learn.
