It's their culture...
For the history of the Stade Rennais, it's a very interesting story but without major trophy, except our two Coupe de France (French cup) if we considere this is a major trophy !
I love the story of our team, when you read the books, you can understand, we are the unlucky team of France ! I don't know if you have a team in scotland as the Stade Rennais.y but without major trophy.

As terms as history goes it sounds like Rennes match Hibernian (in terms of unlucky) or Aberdeen in terms of underachieving.
I'm reading different parts of this forum and in one of the topics a member has a go at Rennes for 'changing' and becoming better than what they were before this 'change' what was this? Have I got this right?

Nobody wants the destination of rangers.
Thanks for taking your time to tell me the history the best you can. Hope I can get to Route de Lorient soon for a match (I've only been outside it).
My mate has a Rennes scarf (RCK infanct) from 2011 but refuses to give it to me.

I don't really see what topic you're talking about but the 'change' this member was talking about might be Montanier as he's supposed to change our way of playing, we're hoping to finally see some good football after many years of shitty physic-based and defensive football.

I can't recall the topic but it was said the person who said this was a rugby fan.

Good win today for Rennes. 2-0 against Lyon! Good to see the new guy Toivonen score a goal on his home debut as well.
News here at Celtic, our goalkeeper Fraser Forster has broken celtic's consecutive clean sheet record today which was set 92 years ago! He has 11 clean sheets in a row in the league and 12 in a row including all competitions, well done him!
Transfer deadline day brought a Scottish striker who is named 'the thumb' to Celtic as he looks like one

The reason why English is the most speaked language ? Just because France lost wars against England especially the last one...Napoleon against all (fuc****) monarchies
I think that you NEED to see these videos :

27 games unbeated in the league....OVER as we lost to aberdeen 2-1 away tonight, 2 wonder goals for the dons and van dijk being sent off after 11 minutes didn't help us either. Our 13 match league record clean sheet record also ended tonight.

Saturday we will be happy if we chain two consecutive victories. Don't be sad.

That weekend there was great, Celtic beat their rivals Hearts and I watch Rennes beat the canaries 0-3 on enemy territory.

I read about the clean sheet streak being snapped on BBC America. Keep your head up, 13 clean sheets is nothing to sneeze at... If Rennes could string together 13 clean sheets they would almost certainly finish the season Top 6 or Top 8 at least. Does Celtic have a spare center back to loan or sell to Rennes?

No unfortunately. We are a bit short at that position. We finally after about 8 years have a partnership at centre back to be proud of with Efe Ambrose and Virgil Van Dijk. Our other Centre back is mulgrew who is the ultimate flexible player who can fit in any position and play well. Our only Frenchman, Steven Mouyokolo is a centre back who is injury prone and....injured right now other than that it is just youths.
We however could be interested in a Toivonen type player though
If you are interested in more stuff Celtic then we have an American fan panel show called 'Beyond the Waves' hosted and run by American Celtic fans. Lots of stuff going on right now with Fans vs the board and other issues being discussed.

Would be hard for Rennes (or should I say costil) to keep 13 clean sheets indeed especially with the calibre of striker on show in Ligue 1 with ibrahimovic and falcao around 4 times a year.

You were doing so well until you said mac!!
It is a shame that we don't have more Amrican fans with no scot/Irish influence, rangers have had more Americans over the past 10 years whilst we've had only 1 or 2 and they were reserves. really bad as I've said I am half American.

Very disappointing tonight, penalty at the end was just losing discipline. They got their 1 goal lead and say back until the end an impressive counter attack got them the penalty too. Penalty claim was 50-50 to me, I've seen them given and not given (like tonight).
Rennes just need consistency. The mentality needs to change from being a mid table team to a top 4 team, most of the team are well more than capable of that, it is just the mindset that has been installed that needs changed.
