Not really, i watched it, Celtic had possession of the ball, many shots, but the opponent goalkeeper was on fire, and the shaktyar scored on his only 2 occasions.

That was embarrassing, could have been won in the first two minutes. Our centre backs made their champions league debut there. Wanyama who would play defensive mid has signed for Southampton for 12.5 million pounds and our best centre back went back home to Nottingham forest and hooper sold to Norwich and haven't been replaced yet our board are too tight fisted with 40 million in the bank to spend on decent replacements. Playing with no striker yesterday showed our intent. I am confident of a 3-0 win at Celtic park though.

Our new target this season for a striker is Innocent Emeghara who played for lorient and now Siena. Talks of a loan deal, you would probably know him better than I do but I gather he had a decent season for Siena.

I think he wasn't excellent when he played in Lorient, except some moments when he showed good qualities, but i heard that he was another player in Sienna, a great scorer.

It'll be very very difficult as I assume it would be sold out. You can try to get them when they go on sale for those without season tickets but you will need to be fast and I don't know when that will be but I will try and keep you posted if I remember to do so.

This would definitely not be cause to be sent off in a lot of championships but in France, referees get really strict instructions in that regard. Wasn't even in the penalty area...

True. Ours are also "strict" or so they say, this was seen as 'diving' last night and Pukki received a yellow card. mad

Tough blow there, Jouffre took his goal well, commentators saying Rennes should feel hard done by, they have worked really hard today. I think the team selection was strange not to start Olivera and Pitroipa especially. I'd always go for experience in derbies.

Also good to see Aliadier get some minutes in the game, he is an ex Celtic player, he only played 2 matches in which were our most embarrassing European performances ever. lol
