We have had a Champions League qualifier won 5-0 on aggregate vs Cliftonville, our friends in Northern Ireland. And we play Swedish champs tomorrow at home, Elfsborg and if we beat them we have one more playoff against whoever and we shall be seeded.

It was very sunny and warm the past few weeks but it has sadly changed now back to old Glasgow weather sad

I see that Nantes have signed Alejandro bedoya who used to play for the now dead rangers side. If I needed another reason to like Rennes then there it is! You guys have nothing to worry about as bedoya isn't that good and Celtic knocked his team out of the champions league qualifiers last last season.

We have a game of the 2nd leg against Elfsberg tonight. 7.45 kick off in France for those who want to watch it on a stream. Celtic lead 1-0 going to Boras in Sweden. Their top goal scorer is out but out player Mo Bangura who we loaned out will play even though he is half fit.

Went through against Elfsborg to the playoffs and we drew the champions of Kazakhstan.

Today our reserves beat Liverpool who had most of their first team playing. Very happy. big_smile

He did a really good game against Reims. He was on the bench and he got on the pitch on the 61th minute and he brought a new gamestyle to the team. He almoste gived an assist to Oliveira with an awesome control (like an "aile de pigeon") followed by an accurate pass. Unfortunatelly Oliveira couldn't beat the keeper.
He has many experience, even european experience since he played Europa League with Nancy and, as you know it, with Rennes. He isn't the fastest of the team but he's one of the most technical players. Julien was our previous season top scorer and top assister (13 goals, 6 passes). Same thing for the 2011/2012 season (13 goals, 11 assists).

Personally, I don't think we need him but the rest of our fans do. I would prefer to stick with what we got in Tom Rogic the Australian attacking midfielder in January. His vision and dribbling are second to none in my opinion.

Talk is becoming more clear here that if we qualify for the group stages of CL then we will buy a CB CAM ST who have all been identified and are aware of the circumstances and the CAM is to be julien feret and the striker is Alfred finnbogason of herenveen.

Julien Feret already said he is willing to extend his contract with Rennes. This should be negociated after the mercato show. I can't imagine him going to your club.
