Maybe you won't be sad, but i really think its bad for the scottish football... In France ( like in some others country) the scottish football means Celtic VS rangers... You need it to be more excited by the game!
If Rangers dies, its a part of scottish football who dies!
Hors ligne
Nah because rangers aren't even strong this season, they are very week, they were so far behind celtic and got knocked out of the cups in the early rounds one of which was from a team in Scotlands second tier. Other teams will prosper due to no rangers influence on them, 98% of Scottish fans are happy they are dieing.

On to the issue of the Newco/Death of Glasgow R*ngers.
Its perhaps a little hard to explain all this to people outside, whats known as 'Planet Scotland' lol.
Anyway, the next few days and weeks will decide the future of Scottish football.
Its looking increasingly likely that Huns FC will go out of buisness, and start again as a new company.
If this is to be the case, I like 100% of the fans of every other club in the Scottish league, with the exception of Huns FC fans, want them to start in division 3, like if any other club went into the same situation. They get allowed back in to the SPL, no questioned asked given the severity of the crimes(Cheating for 20 years) that they have done..Then I will never go back.
Whats the point? Why watch a league that puts finance over sporting integrity. Why watch a league where the odds are stacked in the favour of one team.
The future of Scottish football is at stake here.

For the name of your team why do you rather pronounce "Ssseltic FC" ?
Glasgow/Scottish accent...

Oh, and as I sit/stand there at Celtic park I kept one of those black flags as a souvenir
Your lucky, the huge banner very nearly never made it in.

To be honest, I didn't think he was that bad.
Not many came through the Mowbray era with pass marks. Never forget St Mirren away, that year.

If you are asking what does Glasgow mean and where does it come from here it is here.
Saint mungo 'discovered' Glasgow and stayed there. Saint mungo liked that Glasgow was full off grass and shrubs and good scenery that he named the city 'dear green place' which translated into saint mangos language means Glasgow.
So the answer is Glasgow means Dear Green Place.

Thank you very much dear G .C , it's so funny because in Breton languague ,the word "GLAS" is't green or blue ,like in Scottish .

I wouldn't think it would be, Glasgow is old Scottish Gaelic I am sure.
What about the name Rennes? Has that got a history? And what does the 'Stade' mean in Stade Rennais? I thought it mean stadium like stad de France.

What about 'Stade'?
I was also thinking about that team Quevily. Their stadium is massive and the attendance is large, this is surprising for me that a 3rd tier team is getting a better attendance and stadium than our spl teams!

"Stade" means stadium but I don't really know why they choosed it. It is pretty common in France, like the Stade Brestois in Brest, Brittany, the Stade de Reims (which was the best French team in the 50's with the famous Raymond Kopa) or the Stade Toulousain (the rugby team, best team ever by the way ) in Toulouse.

Indeed it's just a common designation for a club, just as "Football Club" or in "Spartak" in Ukraine and Russia or "Dynamo"....
As stade means "stadium", lots of inhabitants of Rennes who aren't concerned by football make the confusion about the name of our stadium, they don't say "I go the Stade de la route de Lorient", but "I go to the Stade Rennais". Everytime I hear that I have to explain what the name of our stadium is not the same of our team...

Ah now this is different from here in the Scotland. You wouldn't have Celtic being called Celtic park.
