Let's forget the 2009 french cup final ! We really need an update here, as we're gonna hammer Quevilly tonight and go through the semi-finals... Come on !

I watched the first half of the game and with it being 1-0 I was happy. I decided not to watch the second half as Rennes were comfortably leading 1-0. Anyway I came back and seen that it was 2-1! I was shocked to say the least. Reminds me of when Ross County in the second tier of Scottish Football put Celtic out of the semis a couple of years ago. Don't worry Rennes will bounce back! Good Luck!

When we described to you Rennes as a very frustating team to support... well, I think that you had a nice example tonight !

Yeah I have noticed that over the 6 months that I have been following Rennes. I must say though that Costil made a great save just before the end of the first half, so it could have been worse. In about 2 years time you'll look back on this disappointment and even laugh about it. That's how we (Celtic) do now. We are the champions of Scotland now and there is only one player left from the team that lost to the second tier team we played and he's became even better to be a fans favourite now and the team we played (Ross County) won their league and has gained promotion to the SPL. So all is not lost for Rennes. You have a comfortable league position and should be pushing for Europa League football again. Trust me with a little more investment and a good manager and youth system, you will see Rennes thrive. Look at Montpellier. I believe the were in a similar position as Rennes, now look at them, they are sitting at 1st and 2nd in Ligue 1. Mainly due to Giroud (Who Celtic were going to buy but we didn't think he was worth what we were willing to pay ). Anyway, the next game you will see a performance like no other from the players as they try to make up for this loss.
