Well hello rennes fans, there has been further developments in the SPL. big_smile . Celtic are now 14 points clear at the top of the spl after our bitter rivals rangers have went into administration and got a 10 points deduction, this is about a long going story about how rangers have been avoiding paying their taxes and owe the taxman £75 million. This points deduction has made sure that Celtic have won the SPL for the first time since 2008. Rangers could go into liquidation which means that the club will no longer exist. big_smile
So lets hear it for the new scottish champions Glasgow Celtic! cool

Plus rangers lost today at home! Hahahahaha, if Celtic win tomorrow Celtic will go 17 points clear at top cool . But Celtic can go 23 points clear before rangers play their next game. Happy days.

Celtic through to the semi final of the league cup after defeating Dundee United 4-0. We have the cup final of the scottish cup next week against Kilmarnock.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the atmosphere mate.
There was several guests over for the derby, from St Pauli and a few others who seemed to enjoy it.
Our ground has always been famed for the atmosphere....It went downhill slightly when our ground went to all seater, bar European nights and games against rangers.
But for a few years now, we have a great improvement, up there with the old days of the jungle..So its good to hear compliments from other fans.

We play them away on the 25th March, with our fans in party mode given the state of Glasgow's other club.
Allegations of major corruption between them and the SFA....And fraud of over £75million.

Let the rats drown, as we say...A recent tifo vs Motherwell.

Lost 1-0 to Killie in the league cup final.Seem to have nothing but bad luck and awful performances from our team in this cup.

Tifo was ruined however, due to fans throwing thier bits of card down the front.

Hello and a Hail Hail to Tifosi Celtic! Shame about the cup final and loss to the Huns but we will come back stronger! We will win the league proper next week at Kilmarnock as payback for the cup defeat. Back to Celtic Park tomorrow (Sunday) for the first time in over a month!! Been loooong with all the away ties. We play St Johnstone at 15.00 UK time (16.00 in France) if you want to watch it.

P.S. I have to ask why do French league games kick off so late? For example there is a game on at 22.00 French time! That would be madness if it happened here, too late for us Scots to play football. Our evening games kick off at 19.45 and the latest it has ever been was Europa League games at 20.05 UK time.

No, there isn't any game at 22.00 French time, just one game on Saturday at 21.00 and one on sunday at 21.00, that is to say 20.00 British time...
We just play Lyon tomorrow at 21.00 French time

Well this is a question which nobody can answer properly in Britain. Originally the song was from a 50's musical called 'Carousell' and football fans in the 1950's sang the song, infact Manchester United were reported to be the first singers of the song!!! yikes but Celtic also sang it in the 50's also according to our fans from that generation. However a band called Gerry and The Peacemakers from Liverpool sang the song in the 60's on an album which made the song world wide. Liverpool fans sang it because of the singers were from Liverpool and as they are a bigger club and they made it look like they were the first ones to sing it when it is not true. Elvis done a cover of the song and it wasn't Elvis who created the song. Many teams sing it now due to watching the CELTIC fans rendition of the song and not Liverpool. wink

21.00 is a quite normal hour in France.
Compared to the other side of the Channel we aren't used to play in the afternoon. Next season there will be games at 14.30 for the first time and that doesn't suit to everybody ^^

All home games not shown on TV are shown at 15.00 however Scottish teams have to fit around the television schedule so Celtic and Rangers away matches are shown at 12.30 which does annoy your average Scottish fan.

Today is today that Celtic can become champions! We play Kilmarnock (the team who beat us in the final of the cup) at their stadium. Kick off is 1pm in France if you want to watch it online. Pray for Celtic! big_smile
