Yes would have won, had the older voter's voter numbers been removed. The only age group where social media and the real facts weren't presented to them. All of them only had the biased media towards no to believe in.

A week afer the referendum, I thought I'd update you all on the political situation from Scotland and the UK- as it has got very intriguing.
Obviously, we all know Alex Salmond resigned this time last week and has gave several interesting interviews since then about the referendum campaign as well as the SNP and its future.
Salmond will still remain an MSP and the leadership race for the SNP has began with deputy first minister, Nicola Sturgeon set to overtake in November.
Since Friday, the SNP has become the 3rd largest part in the UK with 70,000 members. They only had around 30,000 before last Thursday.
Other pro-independence parties like the Scottish Green Party has now got 5,000 members- 2000 new members from last week and the Scottish Socialists have also seen their members increase substantially.
Today, the SNP, Plaid Cymru and other parties were amongst the 40 odd MPs to vote against military intervention against Islamic State. This was an important vote as many Socialists had joined the SNP and this vote would test their loyalties to their newly joined party.
Most importantly, for this topic. It has emerged that independence can happen as quick as 2016. If SNP gain at least half of Scotland's MPs next year on the ticket of independence and then get a majority again for the Scottish Parliament (which is a cert) then the pro independence parties now have a mandate to force through independence. The UK govt must be very careful on what they do in Scotland, as one major wrong move could see a landslide SNP vote.

Latest polls for next year's UK elections, show a MASSIVE swing to the SNP. This is very important- if this is the outcome, this will be the first time that a party outside the big 2 haven't got a majority in Scotland. First time since the 50s that Labour hasn't got a majority in Scotland.
Scotland's political decisions will continue to confuse me.
To put this into a broader UK-wide picture for you. This is the current numbers:
Conservative 303
Labour 256
Lib Dem 56
Unionists 8
SNP 6
Discounting UKIP seats, this would be the outlook going by the above poll:
Conservative 305
Labour 226
SNP 47
Lib Dem 46
Meaning another hung parliament- probably going into another coalition. But here is the funny thing, there are only 2 parties the Conservatives can go to...the Lib Dems again (which is unlikely, going by recent events).....or the SNP.

I thought I would give you all another small update on the latest Scottish polling for next year's UK election.
59 Scottish seats in the UK election.
54 of them are to go to the SNP,
4 go to Labour and
1 goes to the Liberal Democrats.
My area still elects Labour according to this poll. That's because the MP for my area is a senior Labour figure.
Here is a percentage example:
SNP- 52%
Labour- 23%
Conservatives- 10%
Liberal Democrats- 6%
Scottish Green Party- 6%
UKIP- 1%
Others- 1%
Meaning that pro-independence parties have 58% of the vote. (SNP & Scottish Green Party)

It's the norm with EU elections though isn't it, low turnout means that parties like that can get in- even Scotland now has a UKIP MEP. He doesn't even live or has a vote in Scotland!

Look at this article- If a vote was held today 52% of Scots would back independence!! I thought the vote was a bit early, but not a month early!

Don't forget that polls are just polls, and not real news. You can trust in veracity of polls exactly as you can trust in the UKIP.

Thought i'd give an update on the UK/Scotland situation.
The general election is in the 7th of May and Labour in Scotland, who have a majority here, have elected a new leader last month in Jim Murphy. A survey put him at -4 trust rating amongst Scottish people, whereas his main political opponent is Nicola Sturgeon of SNP who has +39 trust rating.
Here is the latest polling prediction, showing what the makeup of Scotland currently is, and what what is predicted it will be:
EDIT: Just seen this, The Smith Commission was the committee set up for Scottish parliament to get more powers, it returned what we all expected, more feeble powers, useless really. They haven't been voted in yet to even have them. Anyway, this poll shows the reaction to them:
It's what I suspected, the great majority of no voters didn't care for greater powers at all, and those that did are now heavily split on the cause for independence:

Polls have been consistent since the referendum, shows that it isn't a blip or a rogue poll in the past.
The latest polls show for May UK elections:
SNP 47% (+2%)
Labour 26% (-1%)
Conservative 16% (+1%)
Liberal Democrats 4% (-1%)
Support for independence at 51%.

The SNP will always support independence and would have one any time, but they have to let the Scottish people decide by voting for one.
The SNP never ran the election on the back of another referendum and reiterate that point.
There is also talk that Scotland might end up with full fiscal autonomy to try and stop any referendum talk.
The results of the upcoming EU referendum which is still to be set will probably determine if there is another referendum on independence. Scotland is the most pro-EU country in the UK and if we vote to stay in and the rest of the UK votes out, then I see a massive change in opinion towards a Yes vote for independence.
