Hi, I am currently learning how to turn black and white photographs into colour and what place to start my first complete photo than the cup winners for Rennes.
What do you think?

Colours seem right except for the jerseys in the front which seem too saturate. I'd go with a deeper red and a lighter yellow, less luminescent.

Originally, I had the jerseys darker, but I used a keyboard shortcut for something and done it wrong. As a result of that the jerseys changed colour and I couldn't get it back to what it was. sad

That's too bad because you did a great job with the faces and jackets in the back. Nice of you to use some of our old glories, now that we're in a very bad position with today's team.

I'm doing another one of these, this is the 1949/50 team, any help would be good, I'm just messing around with things right now with this one. Hair colours would be good too for any players you know. smile

I think the grass and jerseys colour are too flashy for the time. I'd go for a natural looking grass, darker green with a touch a yellow (keep in mind they didn't upkeep it as well/much as we do now). Same with the jerseys, add some red to make it lighter and drop saturation to make it greyish (not that it's actually grey but colors wheren't as flashy as they are right now).

Basically closer to this.

If you're looking for really old pictures use "SRUC football" in google imagse, you should find some.

I don't feel all good, Rennes were destroyed last night. sad Hosiner hasn't lived up to his Austria Vienna reputation and goals ratio. It was just one of those games that we were never going to score.

Habibou mad 6 yards!!! We will also be lucky to keep hold of Costil, that save near the end was world class.

In terms of Celtic pictures, I have done a few like this one from 1979 when ten men won the league against rangers on the last day of the season.

I think which this game was played the 12/21/1969 . Rennes won ( 1-0) with a goal of Rodighiero .

You can see on the picture : On the left side , Daniel Rodighiero , with the number eleven Robert Rico ,and on the right side Pierre Garcia . So Glasgow , I can't tell you any more about this game against ASSE . smile
