The curse continues - 10 years without victory in opening match of the league!
Spartak was unfairly awarded with penalty, it was outside the penalty box.

Except for the penalty, did you feel Red Star was better than Subotica on the pitch? What tactics did Prosinecki use?

Also who played in defence? I sort of understood that the centre-back pair would either be Addy - Vilotic or Vilotic - Cosic?

First question dont know answer, coz i was pissed, i guess not better (because they won) but equal. And about Prosinecki tactics, there were no, or just players couldnt follow it, nothing was working compared to all matches before, and plus crappy penalty, Kaludjerovic missing whole goal (or even ball:o) from 4 meters.

Viloti?-Mijailovi? in defence, that was strange, coz Mijailovi? is defensive midfielder, also people are not satisfied with Viloti?, and with Addy for Rennes everything should be totally different. I think that Addy will be definitely in team for Rennes, so it will be Addy-Viloti? or Addy-Cosi?.

Bookmakers gives about 25 or 30% chances for Red star to qualify. Do you think it's a good prediction ?

Since our results were horrible in several last seasons both in European competition and domestic, its expected. but i would go with 55-45 for Rennes.

Nenad Kovacevic made a fault outside the line, there was not any penalty which would had been given to Subotica.
And there was not fault neither against Spartak's player just before the second goal, it's so clear. The referee made two mistakes : two goals. yikes
But that not explain why Red Star didn't manage to score against this team of Subotica which was not very good ...

No, we weren't better, Prosinecki also said that. Prosinecki used same tactic as always, 4-3-2-1.
It would be the best thing if Addy and Vilotic would be the centre-back pair, but only if Vilotic plays as he played before. Hope Addy will be readdy for the match.

I watched the summary of Spartak-Red Star and your goalkeeper has been dreadful, the penalty is his own fault and the second as well 'cause I failed his kick, what a pity...;)

i hope for you usually it is a great keeper otherwise Pitroipa will be happy to score once...or twice wink

Yeah, he shouldn't pass the ball to Kovacevic, he only put Kovacevic in trouble and he made foul, but I don't think that his fault is the second goal smile
