That and his rift with Prosinecki. But I find it hard to believe that Arsenal is interested in him.

I saw the match between Russia and Serbian national team this afternoon.
It was quite boring...  How can Jorgacevic make that mistake in such a game ?! Too easy for Pogrebnyak to score!
What striked me is that serbians were a bit too agressive for a friendly August match : what Vidic make on Kerzhakov's leg and the nudge Andrei Arshavin received in his face ... roll yikes

Yes match was boring as hell, and people are not satisfied with choice of goalkeeper, Pizon is not a good coach. We have a problem with strikers, they simply can not score a goal, and thats why many are asking to give chance to Kaludjerovic or Cléo (Brazilian who have Serbian citizenship, and playing good in China, moved there from Partizan this year).

This is some bullshit article but still to show:

World Football's 15 Most Hostile Stadiums and Venues

First, Red Star won 25 league championships (not 19) and 23 national cups (not 18), also theres no new stadium under construction, plans for new stadium were presented last year:

New Stadium
In May 2010, Red Star presented a new stadium project. It will feature 60,000-70,000 seats. The Portuguese architect said "We tried to make this stadium known as the Red Star stadium. That's why we designed the main stadium structure in the form of pentagonal star, which is the club's symbol. The highest architectural standards will be applied to the entire complex. Steel, glass and natural materials will be used to achieve a modern and innovative architectural solutions to make the Red Star complex a unique and distinctive signiture of Belgrade."

Re: [Europa League, qualification play-offs] SRFC - Crvena Zvezna Beograd

It was a great match between two good teams.

We played bad at the 20 first minutes but it was much better after. I think we deserved to win but we just scored in the last minutes, so it's not so bad.

Montano and Boukari was not very strong but Boukari is god ( cool )
M'Vila was tired (I don't know if he will play against you hmm )
Mandjeck was good.
Mangane and Kana Biyik not so bad.
Féret not at his best.
Danzé and Teophile Catherine had not played very well.
Costil was very strong.

(Sorry for my bad english)

Re: [Europa League, qualification play-offs] SRFC - Crvena Zvezna Beograd

Well it was a tough one, Paris came with a big question mark on their shoulders.

"After a poor display against Lorient, were they going to be fitter ? and would they play like a team ?"

And unfortunately for us, they were not only in a tremendously better shape, but they also played like a team and not like the sum of skillful individuals. They were organised in a 4-2-3-1 in the first half that changed for a 4-4-2 when Hoarau came into play.
Their Midfield was dense and Matuidi and Bodmer were particularly good, Chantome (their second defensive midfield with Matuidi) was less accurate but he won a lot of one-on-ones too. Those three were a pain to get away from, and they cut a lot of good passes to our forwards.
But, despite this dense midfield and a lot of commitment from both team, it wasn't locked match. There were many scoring opportunities from both sides, Féret missed a quite open net, Boukari had good opportunities too, and so did Montaño (less shots on the goal though)
And Paris players almost passed our goalkeeper a few times, but he did well defending his net.

He did well, but he did nothing in comparison to what Sirigu did for Paris. Man, that guy is good. For a goalkeeper who cannot yet fully communicate with his defense line, that's a breathtaking performance.
I really hope your goalkeeper is not this good, otherwise we're screwed big_smile

And then, Paris scored, it was a bit of a shock as we had a little advantage on the field, mainly thanks to Mandjeck (of huge help in getting the ball from parisian midfielders, we had rarely seen him at that level during a whole match last year) and Pitroipa. That guy is a freaking magician, most impressive newcomer we've had in a long long time.
Féret did quite well too, but he seemed tired quite soon in the second half.

We ended bringing back the score to a draw, with a wonderful long pass from Dalmat (who had just replaced Féret I think) to Pitroipa who finally defeated that bloody italian wall.

The quality level of this game was impressive, way more than against Dijon.
I'm really happy to see that Pitroipa can maintain his level when pressure is higher, really happy to see Mandjeck at this level, a bit worried by Féret's shape. Our defense line was deficient against Dijon (remember one goal from Dijon was unfairly denied by the referee), they seemed better tonight, that's another satisfaction.
The big disappointement was from Montaño and Boukari who both could have been better in front of the goal as well as in taking part to the action and creating scoring chances.

In the end it's a good result, I'm satisfied. And I know the team is ready for the Marakana challenge smile

Spartak of Moscou in Russia ?  smile

Spartak is common name for sports clubs in Eastern Europe (although Serbia is actually not east but south Europe, but it is a political division because of our communist history (i can even go further on this:), because Yugoslavia was totally different than other commie states)), but this Spartak in Subotica was named after the nickname of athlete and World War II commander Jovan Miki?.

Re: [Europa League, qualification play-offs] SRFC - Crvena Zvezna Beograd

It was the worst Red Star match since Prosinecki came, nothing was working, also for match with Rennes Addy, Cadu and Evandro will be back in team, as we said before we simple have that curse for last 8-10 years that we just cant win in first league match of season.

Also same situation was with Ventspils, on away match we were horrible (but not like today) and fortunately we won, but home everything was just perfect, but dont know what to expect for match with u. U were good against PSG, not whole match, but had some amazing chances, u have strong and fast players, Pitroipa is very dangerous, will see.
