They did it!
They played pretty well, the second half was by far better than the first one. Samaras did a fantastic game, without him I think the Bhoys wouldn't have been able to win. I was a wee bit sad when Kallstrom was sent off, because he is one of the greatest player I've been given the chance to see playing in Rennes and he is a really nice guy.

This tie against juventus will be difficult, maybe even harder than Barcelona. Going away to Juve when they have only lost 2 in 18 months is frightning of course. We want revenge though as we should have went through to last 16 back in 2001 and we were cheated.

I rarely go to away games for a number of reasons such as the expensive prices that are charged to fans across Scotland also there are no nearby buses that take fans to away stadiums unfortunately where I live.

Hi happy new year, yes i seen the signing of John Mensah, hope he does well. He is a good player and Rennes have got a great bargain!

Yeah the news of Yann to Arsenal has been in the British media for a year or so but has gone quiet recently. I don't know why. EPL clubs including Arsenal were looking at our Kenyan called Victor Wanyama who plays just like M'Vila in the same position on the field and have the same good attributes. I believe Wanyama is a back-up option for Arsenal if Yann doesn't sign however we are not looking to sell Wanyama yet and would only sell for prices of 15 million pounds upwards. He is our most valuable player in terms of price.

Yeah Gary Hooper has been attracting many clubs in England, all the top 4 have seemed to take some interest in him. However he is linked with team in the bottom teams in the premiership. The latest team to be linked with Hooper is Norwich City but we have deemed this to be a rumour. We are trying our best at Celtic to get Hooper to sign a new contract as he is worth a good amount and is our best player when he wants to be as he can be a bit lazy and needs a partner up front with him. Hooper is arguably in the top 5 finishers in Britain right now, no doubt about it but his lazyness lets him down a bit unfortunately as does his passing which can sometimes be slack. Plus if he was to go to a team like Norwich he would be giving a lot up such as winning trophies and playing in Europe especially the Champions League, but Celtic needs him for that campaign.

I seen that a great 2-0 win for Rennes!! The game will surely be on British tv for me to watch for once.

Although I want some credit, I did say things would get much better after the defeat to Quevilly. You were all doom and gloom but I believed Rennes could overcome it like Celtic did after a defeat to Ross county. smile

Good luck though, I estimate the town of Rennes to be empty on the cup final day? tongue
