Good evening again fans of Stade Rennais.

After six months, I am writing again in your forum to inform you for Olivier Sorlin and his progress at P.A.O.K FC during this period, as I had promised to do so.

First of all I must say that Finrod and Lauig, that both had the kindness to write thoroughly for the profile of the player, were accurate and correct.

Olivier played to all of our games, most times as a starter. He usually played as an offensive left midfielder and sometimes as a winger. The Portuguese coach of P.A.O.K, Fernando Santos, believed to his quality from the very beginning and he always had a role for the French. Needless to say that Olivier Sorlin left us speechless many times, not only for the fact that he adjusted to the tactic very quickly but moreover for his tough spirit and his clever game. He plays for the team and never for his own image. Everybody in our team respects him and within a few months he became one of the favourite players of the fans.

Many of us are wondering how come such a nice player not to be able to find a starting role in your team. There are two explanations. The rest of your players are very-very good or either Olivier was a little bit misjudged by your trainer and maybe by the fans. Or neither of these and he simply needed a new environment and new motives.

In any case Olivier is very happy in Greece and P.A.O.K as well, and he seems to enjoy the condition he met in our team and in the city of Salonica. I think that after the summery preparation he will surprise us even more at the forthcoming season.

Finally I hope that before long P.A.O.K and Stade Rennais will play against each other, so that you can have the chance to be proud for your ex-player.
