Yes it is indeed interesting to see how distorted can perceptions be from a country to another, as we know the importance of the European challenges amongst our nation’s football community. They even explain French team’s lack of international results by a reported disinterest!

That might explain part of some of the good results we had against Bétis and Arsenal! Ok, we had a hard way throughout the group stage, but we have had bad results in the championship in the meantime too, as we’ve thrown all our forces in the battle.

And we were so exhausted at the end of the season that we even kinda sacrificed the chanmpionship, to put all of our last forces in the French Cup.

But it’s good for our team to be underestimated!

Rumours have Grigg signing for Celtic. However, if he does sign for us, then that's the end of that song that's made him famous. Celtic fans won't sing that song, and Northern Ireland fans won't sing the song because he plays for Celtic!! All very petty in my opinion.

To be honest, I don't really know too much about him. I'm not a watcher of English football, Ligue 1 and the Scottish Premiership *sigh* is more of my thing. However, he is a big name in the game and is a big statement of intent from those who run Celtic, who were not popular with the fans at all. This is their last throw of the dice, and it has been some throw because they'd have lost their jobs if the appointment wasn't correct. The loss to rangers in the cup started a chain of events, such as appointing Rodgers, but this should have been done long ago.

Pleased? I have to admit I don't like Rodgers much as a bloke, but he does get results and he's very ambitious, so I think it's a good move for Celtic.
