Ouai MX, comme des glands, un match pourri ou on est dominé comme des nuls mais ou l'on marque sur un coup franc contré 2 fois et qui prend Elana à contre pieds, le genre de match que l'on faisait y a 2 ans smile , à Lille çà m'irait bien

I'm from Sweden and write a lot about french football. The problem with that is that I hardly ever get a chance to get fans opinions on things. You can't find any fans for Évian, Bastia or Lorient in Sweden.

I don't wanna interrupt any conversations, so I just need one or two people to answer, then you can go back to talk about the Lille-game! Some answers would help me a lot since I, as I said, don't have any swedish Rennes-fans to ask. I'm always interested to hear what the fans got to say.

The question is written in english, but feel free to answer them in french if you wanna.

1. Your best and/or most important players this season (pick 2 or 3 or something like that)? Biggest disappointment among the players?

2. Your teams strengths and weaknesses?

3. Any players that are likely to leave/arrive in the summer?

Hello,

First of all you should know that we have an English section here : English Section

Anyway here are my answers to your questions :

1 - Best players : Alesssandrini, Pitroipa, Feret
Biggest disappointment : S. Diallo (But he is young, i am sure he will get much better)

2 - Our strengh can be also one of our weakness : it is the young age of the team.
Players can totally have their mind somewhere else than on the pitch sometimes, but they can also find the strengh to score at any time.
One of our biggest strengh, is our offensive power.

3 - For the summer transfer period, i haven't heard of any arrivals yet.
Players that might have offers from other club might be : Erding, Pirtoipa, Alessandrini, Kana Biyik, Theopile-Catherine.
And also we have our loan players that should not stay : Maloun, A. Diarra

4- the weirdest thing is our beggining of sesaon. 4 lost in 5 games, and at winter break we were 4th...

5- Our economic situation is very good. We have very well balance account, thanks to Pierre Dreossi and F. De Saint Sernain.

6 - Those 2 players were mostly liked by Stade Rennais fan.

7 - The 20th April we have the leage cup final againt St Etienne. If we win, it will be our first trophee since 1972. So pay attention to that.

Best players : Alessandrini, Feret, Costil
Biggest disappointment : Diallo. He's not as good as he was last year, hope he'll be better next year

2. Your teams strengths and weaknesses?

Our fighting spirit, since the 7th Gameday, the team never throw away a game until the final whistle.

3. Any players that are likely to leave/arrive in the summer?

Hope that we'll keep Makoun, and why not Diarra. Rennes has already bought Konradsen that could be very interesting. I think we might lose Pitroipa and/or Erding this summer. That would be a serious pain in the ass.

4. Any weird things that have happened in the team this season?

- Ahamada's goal (Toulouse's GK) during the injury time, on Gameday 7.
- Rennes victory at Paris SG while playing 9 vs 11, so awesome.

5. How is the general economic situation in the club?

Very good, it's positive since M'Vila's sell, but even if it wasn't, we still have a billionair to cover our debts.

6. What was/is the general view of Andreas Isaksson and Erik Edman in Rennes?

- Edman had a wonderful 1st season, our best LW until Mavinga this year, but his 2nd wasn't that good, he even left us during the winter. hmm
- Isaksson had good reflexes, but i never understood why a 2m tall GK could take so many lob goals... He even sucked at high plays.

But you forgot the most important swedish players.

- Hansson, he was our captain for 3 years. A bit slow, but his tackles and headers were worldclass.
- Källström, a true genius, and imo, nevermind Ibrahimovic, he's the real best swedish player since Larsson stopped playing.

7. Anything else that's interesting about the club right now?

The League Cup final on 20th April. A great end of season where we could have Champion's League prospects.

Btw, how's the IFK Göteborg, huge fan, I watched some of their games when Ravelli, Blomqvist were playing there. They shouldn't have sold Bjärsmyr, he's burried in Greece now. sad The future captain of Sweden imo. ^^

C'est pour cela d'ailleur que on l'a réorienté vers la catégorie anglaise.

Revenu mercredi matin du Mali après avoir disputé la Coupe d'Afrique des Nations en Afrique du Sud, Fantamady Diarra fera le déplacement à Lille. Romain Danzé, blessé à la cuisse et absent face à Toulouse le week-end dernier, fait son retour. Quant à Pitroipa, de retour lui aussi de la CAN dans la jouréne, il est laissé au repos.

Dommage que Pitroipa ne soit pas présent dans le groupe. Contre Lille ca aurait été un plus de l'avoir. Après le coach a surement raison de le ménagé. Vaut mieux s'en priver un match et l'avoir derrière à 100 % jusqu'à la fin de saison que prendre le risque qu'il se blesse vendredi pour plusieurs mois.

Pareil, c'est gros kiff de regarder les match des conccurents quand on gagne smile

Dites moi, y a beaucoup d'enthousiasme pour ce match, çà nous porte souvent malheur çà ! lol

Nan sans déconner, on peut faire quelque chose là bas. Pour Pit, je trouve çà logique, il doit être bien chamboulé après cette CAN, un peu de calme va lui faire du bien mentalement parce que physiquement çà m'aurait pas inquiété de le voir rentrer en jeu, ce gars est impressionnant tant il enchaine les matchs sans montrer de défaillances physiques.
Pour revenir à notre adversaire de demain, ils ont retrouvé quelque chose contre Lyon qu'il avait perdu depuis leur titre, c'est la gestion des matchs : attaquer au bon moment, ne pas se découvrir avec excès, user l'adversaire avec un enchainement de passes important. Si on bloque bien Balmont ils auront du mal et surtout il nous faut un Payet fantôme comme çà lui arrivait encore en 2012 parce que depuis un moment, il est régulier et (presque) réaliste donc là on peut craindre de beaucoup souffrir. Notre point faible comme l'a dit Anto dans la presse aujourd'hui, c 'est qu on a pas de charnière centrale type, contre Kalou et Payet çà risque d'être compliqué mais bon j'y crois, on peut les bousculer et une chose est sur, il n'y aura pas 0-0 !
